At 5'0", nothing fit. I was tired of adjusting, compromising, and settling for gear that wasn't made for me.
So I created Nexarina. Technical outerwear designed around women's bodies, without compromising performance.

ABOUT NEXARINA
A little more about who we are and what we do.
Nexarina was founded by Mikayla Balfour, a Canadian snowboarder who struggled to find technical outerwear that fit her 5'0" frame. She created Nexarina to give women something better: performance outerwear designed around their bodies.
Nexarina designs women's ski and snowboard outerwear from the ground up, rather than adapting men's patterns. With Short, Regular, and Tall lengths, articulated construction, and technical materials including eVent® fabrics and PrimaLoft® Gold insulation, our gear combines fit with mountain-ready performance.
Nexarina is a Canadian, woman-founded outerwear brand based in Edmonton, Alberta. Inspired by life in the mountains, we design technical apparel for women who ski, snowboard, and explore the outdoors.
Our development process starts by listening to women. Through hundreds of rider conversations, extensive prototyping, and real-world feedback, we refine the fit, function, and details of our outerwear to meet the demands of snow sports.

Often, female products are made for looks rather than for functionality. As a female rider, I know firsthand that we need performance gear that empowers us. Therefore, my goal is to create more than just a cute Instagram outfit, I want to provide technical outwear that fits!
